A van will be making trips to the airport (on arrival and departure days only) as well as into town during the retreat. However, if you want to take a longer independent day trip or plan to travel pre/post retreat, a rental car is a good option.

Flip your seasons and be prepared for summer weather in December. Summer days can be anywhere from 70-80* with brisk evenings. The evenings can still get cool (think ~60*s) so it’s best to bring summer clothes that can layer with a light jacket for nights on the town.
