Sarah Harry is an Body Positive Australian Yoga Teacher with a passion for creating warm and fun spaces for everyone to practice yoga. Her philosophy is that yoga is for all bodies and yoga postures meet us where we are most comfortable! She can adapt the practice to your needs and is trained in gentle, traditional, restorative and yin yoga. She would work together with you on your trip to meet everyone’s needs for relaxed or vigorous practice.
Her roles in this field are varied and she offers a unique perspective as an experienced Body Image Psychotherapist, University Lecturer, Researcher, Yoga Teacher and Author. She is the co-director of Body Positive Australia.
Sarah was the first yogi in Australia to offer yoga for bigger bodies and is regularly seen in the media on TV, print and radio. She recently was on the cover of Australian Yoga Life. Sarah has practiced yoga for more than 20 years and has been running specialist classes and retreats for the last few years all over Australia, Bali and New Zealand and she has travelled the world with a yoga mat!
Sarah has just published her first book “Fat Yoga – Yoga for All Bodies” which was published internationally and she enjoys time with her two boys and “Chilli” the dog in Melbourne, Australia.
