Shannon Algeo
Shannon Algeo is a life coach, yoga teacher, SoulFeed podcast host, and student of life. Born in Washington, DC, Shannon grew up in Maryland and went to Syracuse University where he studied dance and theater. He’s been a New Yorker for 10 years now, but he is a travel yogi at heart.
Shannon’s yoga practice is breath-focused, heat-generating, energy-balancing, prayerful, and fun. He helps hundreds hundreds of clients, ranging from ages 11-80, practice radical self-care so that they can be well, live balanced lives, and serve the world from a place of unconditional love. Named one of the “Nicest Instructors in New York City” by RateYourBurn, Shannon’s intuition has been called a “gift to the yoga and wellbeing community.”
Shannon is certified in Nalini Method (Pilates, barre, strength training), 200-hr RYT from Pure Yoga, Advanced Anusara Yoga Therapeutics, Forrest Yoga, Vinyasa with Seane Corn, and Yoga Tune Up® Embodied Integrated Anatomy. Shannon studied Yoga Leadership with the non-profit Off the Mat, Into the World at the Omega Institute.
