Lori Head

Lori was born in Elko, Nevada, loving the western traditions and wide open space. Idaho has been home for many years, in fact she was Miss Idaho in 1979!!! Lori’s education began at Boise State, continuing on with Masters from Arizona State and a doctorate from the University of Idaho. Her entire education and research is centered around mind/body development through education, kinesiology, physical education, dance, and movement based techniques.

Lori is the northwest certifying teacher for floor, equipment, circular, and standing pilates. She is a Feldenkrais practitioner, gyrokinesis instructor, in addition to NETA yoga certification, restorative certification. She is the co-owner and director of Mind Your Body Health studio in Pocatello, Idaho, as well as completing 18 years of teaching at Idaho State University.

Dr. Head feels a comfort in the travel based industry working for Educational Foundation and GoAhead tours for the past 24 years, touring most of Europe, Canada, Mexico, and the U.S.  A few side notes… she will feed all stray animals along the way…..
