OVERVIEW
Find your balance on the crystal blue water in the Lesser Antilles. This boutique hotel has an amazing beachfront yoga pavilion, spa and the unique experience of paddle board yoga. Imagine waking up to perfect 82-degree weather, inspirational beachfront yoga classes, meditating to the sound of the surf, pampering yourself with spa treatments in a Caribbean-Balinese style spa facility, and the adventure of trying your downward dog on a stand-up paddle board.
Accommodation Options:
The Deluxe Sanctuary Rooms are newly renovated with warm and simple island furnishing and sleek updated bathrooms. Waterfall showers and marble floors offer a calm retreat from sand and surf. If work has to follow you on retreat, complimentary wifi is available in each room. Private balconies or patios offer tranquil garden views with all of the nature Aruba has to offer… and the local lizards and iguanas are not shy!
Besides getting wet during paddle board yoga, this retreat also includes a catamaran and snorkeling adventure (3 swim spots!), crystal clear ocean swimming and a trip into town to sample local food and flavor.
The white sand beaches of this Dutch ABC island give way to dry, arid cactus desserts with just a little exploration. Venture out to the gold mine ruins, into town or just down to the spa. Aruba truly is the little island that could.

Five days of seaside yoga, spa, beaching, boating, umbrella drinks and overall Om? All yours.
Get ready to wind down waterside, soak up the sun and let loose in the lush Caribbean locale of Aruba. Join me in paradise to get away and get real. We’ll spend five days relaxing, renewing, de-stressing and having crazy fun on this tropical island in the Lesser Antilles. This retreat is the perfect answer for anyone looking for a low-key escape that will strengthen the body (and the tan) and soothe the soul - whether or not you can touch your toes.
I’ll offer twice-daily yoga for all levels, starting with an invigorating vinyasa to get our asanas out of bed, and winding down with a chill pre-cocktail class at sunset. We’ll also enjoy a stand-up paddleboard yoga (SUP yoga) class with Rachel Brathen, a sunset sail and snorkel, sand between our toes and as many swimsuited savasanas as we like.
Want to salute the moon after the sun? Then we’ll head into town to sip, shop, gamble and dance the night away. After all, nothing goes with a down dog quite as well as getting down.
FAQ
What airport do I fly into?
You will be booking your flight in and out of Aruba International Airport (AUA). Round trip transfers are included in the price of the trip on arrival and departure days only.
Do I need a passport/visa?
US citizens will need a valid passport to visit Aruba, but no visa is required at this time. Passports will need to be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry. Aruba reserves the right to refuse entry if passports expire before the 6 month mark.
Nationals of all other countries should check travel requirements well in advance of their retreat.
What is the electrical currency/outlet in Aruba?
Aruba utilizes the same plug and voltage as the United States and Canada. If you are coming from another part of the world, a plug adapter and/or converter may be necessary.
Is there internet access on property?
While we hope you’ll try and unplug… but yes, there is wi-fi on property.
Do I need to bring my own mat, blocks, straps, etc?
You are welcome to bring your own mat and accessories but Manchebo has a stocked yoga facility so it's not required.
Are there bugs?
Happy is the yogi that can practice outdoors anywhere without a few bugs. Aruba's daily breeze generally blows away pesky mosquitoes and no-see-ums, but a bug spray in your luggage won't go amiss.
Do I need to book any of the optional activities ahead of time?
All of the activities can be booked when you arrive in Aruba; however, if there is something that you know you HAVE to try, it is always best to book early.
What do I need to bring?
Think ‘amazing beach holiday’ with yoga clothes thrown in. Aruba is a very eclectic town with the downtown area not far from our boutique hotel, so come prepared. Your yoga mat and any accessories you use in your practice will also need to come with you.
Do I need to rent a car?
A car will be making trips to the airport (on arrival and departure days only). However, if you want to take a longer independent day trip or plan to travel pre/post retreat, a rental car is a good option.
What is the weather like?
Aruba is blessed with steady and out-of-the-hurricane-belt weather year round. Days will most likely be in the mid to high 80s with evenings in the mid to low 70s. All rooms are air conditioned for your comfort and mother nature offers her own air conditioning with wind picking up generally in the afternoons.
