Deborah Lee celebrates the diversity of yoga and her teaching style is a well-versed study in the best that vinyasa yoga has to offer. Since her first teacher training in 1999, she has achieved over 1,000 teacher training hours and has studied with a long roster of yoga luminaries, including Baron Baptiste, Annie Carpenter, John Friend, Tias Little and Rodney Yee.
Deborah imparts mindful attention to alignment and breath in a challenging and vigorous flow. Her classes are set to engaging music and her sequencing is intended to strengthen the body and mind while connecting to the heart, a thorough combination of Strength, Sweat and Spirit.
Deborah's classes make me work, physically, more than most, with enjoyable sequencing and groovy tunes. I walk away from my mat feeling intoxicated with bliss and calm. But what I really love is Deborah's attention to elevating and strengthening your spirit. She weaves inspiring messages, stories, and sayings into the physical practice that make the class more soulful. The best part is taking these revelations off the mat, and into your life. Go for the sweat, stay for the soul. -Jonathan Rowe

Mia teaches with an emphasis on detailed alignment geared towards an intelligence and purpose to her sequencing. Her purpose as a teacher is to allow the student to have an authentic experience that is sacred, healing, uplifting, and inspired by spirit.
What do I need to bring?
Just the essentials! A bathing suit, sunblock, yoga clothes and your mat if you prefer to practice on your own mat. Lumeria has a fully stocked yoga room so no need to bring a mat or props.
What airport do I fly into?
Please be sure to schedule your flight arriving on February 28th into Maui (OGG) no later than 4pm. Your departure can be scheduled any time on March 4th from OGG.
Please note that check in time for Lumeria is 3pm. If you arrive earlier, they will be happy to check you in if there is a room available or hold your luggage until one comes available.
Do I need to rent a car?
Taxis and shuttles are easy to catch from the airport or from Lumeria, however, they can get expensive. In order to soak up all of the culture and lushness of Maui, a rental car is recommended.
Do I need to book any of the optional activities ahead of time?
All of the activities can be booked when you arrive in Maui; however, if there is something that you know you HAVE to try, it is always best to book early.
What is the weather like that time of year?
February weather can be very different not only day to day, but on the various sides of the island. On average, you can expect the temperature to be in the mid 70s. Highs can go into the low 80s, but it is a good idea to bring a layer for overcast or misty mornings.
However, keep in mind that if it's cloudy on one side of the island it's likely sunny on a different shore! Nothing on Maui is too terribly far and a cloudy morning can be a good excuse for a road-trip (ha).
Is there internet access on property?
Send photos while lying by the pool or goofing on the island … yes, there is wi-fi on property.
