Julie Radar and Kim Brounstein - Body as TempleJulie’s classes combine the solid, alignment-based foundation of Mukti Yoga School with an intuitive teaching method that weaves the ancient wisdom of yoga into everyday life. Julie’s classes allow students to tap into their highest potential through breath, body movement and stillness. Creative and specific sequencing focuses on matching asana and intention with lunar cycles, seasons, and astrology. Her classes have been described as “sneaky” as students reach a deep meditative state in the flow yet wake up sore the next day.

With a background deeply rooted in exercise physiology, Julie helps students and teachers marry the spiritual aspects of the practice with solid anatomical principles. In addition to her public classes, she is also a passionate teacher for many elite athletes, including the US National teams for volleyball, soccer, and cycling.

Julie is committed to making Mukti yoga available to students throughout the world. She travels for workshops, retreats, and trainings internationally and in the United States.

Breathe, Believe, Bliss Galapagos Yoga Retreat:  June 4-11, 2017

ElSegundo_Julie_0913-28 copyWake up each morning ready to delve into your body and breath in preparation for this amazing island exploration!

Each morning will kick off with deep breathing exercises (pranayama) and an intention-based vinyasa flow class leading up to a peak pose. We will go deep in our yoga practices soaking in the natural wisdom of the islands. Due to the intimate size of the group each student will receive personal attention and will be guided to their highest potential through Julie’s individual guidance.
