Cathy Shaw
Cathy is an experienced registered yoga teacher, certified yoga therapist, mindfulness meditation instructor and sound healing practitioner devoted to the practices of yoga, mindfulness, breath and vibrational sound. She holds a B.S. in Communications, is a mother of three and is a passionate music lover who weaves music, movement and meditation into her teaching.
Her wellness journey began with the American Heart Association where she spent five years promoting heart disease and stroke prevention. She discovered yoga in Northern California in the late 1990s and has since devoted herself to the study and practice of yoga, mindfulness, holistic health, subtle body energy and sound healing.
Cathy teaches private, group and corporate classes, both in-person and online, and offers yoga therapy and sound healing sessions. Her trauma-informed inclusive approach welcomes all bodies and all levels.
